The Emulpack®, SAE emulsion plant, is the universal solution to produce road binder emulsions, capable of meeting all needs, from the simplest to the most complex.
The Emulpack® is designed for continuous emulsion production while preserving the mix in an aqueous phase in batch mode, using two tanks in alternating mode. It is available in multiple versions and over production flow ranges of up to 40 tph in continuous (up to 15 tph in batch production) while being configurable on demand. It is the ideal solution for contractors looking for a reliable, practical and comfortable facility, able to produce all kinds of emulsions and cut-backs (polymers, fluxes, liquid or thick amines) of flawless quality, at low costs. Benefitting from a state-of-the-art automation software, the plant can be fully programmed to automatically manage tasks and accurately record production to manage production traceability. The Emulpack®’s core is the colloidal mill Bitumill®, based on a proven technology that has over 30 years of experience, quiet, it guarantees the production of high-quality emulsion and needs very little maintenance.
Its closed-loop heat recovery, unique in the world, is used to produce hot water without external energy input, which means significant operating cost savings can be made. Its 100% electric and very flexible operation means there is no risk of pollution due to the use of heating oil, and its reinforced insulation guarantees a high energy efficiency. Moreover, the Emulpack® is equipped with drip containment trays that prevent any material leak and thus protect the soil around the plant.
Depending on its configuration, this Emulpack® generation revolutionises the binder emulsion production industry; it allows the production of all types of emulsions: cationic or anionic, with all types of additional components such as flux, latex, etc.
Its container-format design allows SAE to package the technology in a compact and practical way inside the Emulpack®, and facilitates its transportation from one jobsite to another in record times. These containers are CSC approved for road and sea transport and do not need any special authorisation linked to wide loads in order to be transfered. Moreover, thanks to the Plug & Play, ready-to-use, and easy maintenance concept, the Emulpack® has never been easier to set-up and operate. The metering platform is designed for perfect usability and facilitates component maintenance. The control cabin is autonomous and accessible via a door from outside, as well as inside.
